Emile Martineau is a Rhode Island native having grown up in West Warwick. Emile holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Rhode Island. Emile graduated from New England School of Law in Boston and kick started his law career at the office of the Rhode Island Attorney General. He served under three Attorney Generals in both the criminal and civil divisions and became a Special Assistant Attorney General, where he prosecuted hundreds of felony cases, including first-degree murder. Emile entered private practice in 1999 and has remained in private practice ever since.
Most recently, Emile and his wife Lynn opened their own law firm: Martineau Law P.C. The two of them serve as a husband and wife team in Warwick, Rhode Island with a focus in Real Estate Transactional and Closing work as well as Estate Planning and Probate. Between the two of them, Emile and Lynn have had a diverse range of experience working in Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death, Real Estate, Business Law, Divorce and Family Law, Wills, and Estates and Trusts. The pair place great value on building strong and trustworthy personal relationships with their clients, and are excited to continue their work together as a family-owned business.
Outside of the office, Emile and Lynn live in Jamestown and enjoy spending their time by the water. In their free time, the two of them love to spend time with their children and keep active. Emile has a knack for playing tennis, running, and sailing.
