Lynn Martineau

Lynn Martineau is Rhode Island native having grown up in Providence.  Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. She attended Vermont Law School and has been practicing since 1989 in all areas of civil litigation. Lynn’s legal career developed at a Providence law firm, where she became a partner and focused primarily on the various facets of family law, including divorce, paternity, and child custody matters. She also has experience in contracts, personal injury, and real estate matters. Lynn is admitted to both the state and federal bars in Rhode Island. 

Lynn and her husband Emile opened their own law firm: Martineau Law P.C. The two of them serve as a husband and wife team in Warwick, Rhode Island with a focus in Real Estate Transactional and Closing work as well as Estate Planning and Probate. Between the two of them, Emile and Lynn have had a diverse range of experience working in Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death, Real Estate, Business Law, Divorce and Family Law, Wills, and Estates and Trusts. The two of them place great value on building strong and trustworthy personal relationships with their clients, and are excited to continue their work together as a family-owned business.

Lynn and Emile live in Jamestown and love to spend time with their children and family. In Lynn’s spare time, she is dedicated to physical fitness and enjoys playing tennis. Lynn also enjoys traveling, entertaining, gourmet cooking and is always happy to spend time by the water.
